Lavasa Trip

If you are a long drive lover, then Lavasa is your destination. Monsoon is the best season to enjoy the beauty of nature and hit the roads of Lavasa Hills. It is located around 60 kms away from Pune. Almost it took three hours from Kothrud  to reach the city of Lavasa as we took a couple of pit stops for refreshment and some nature clicks. It is a man made city and the maintenance of roads, buildings and the surroundings are phenomenal.
On the way to Lavasa we will be going across many small ponds, lakes, waterfalls, hilly terrains and deep valleys that will make your ride very pleasant. And you will always be followed by a cool breeze if there is no heavy rainfall. After reaching the peak of the hill you will be surrounded by densely formed mist that gives you a heavenly feel after inhaling the automobiles smoke in the city.
After reaching the Lavasa city, you can find cottages, resorts, hotels to stay, but most of them are elite class. Also there are buildings constructed in the European style, many restaurants are available where you can taste cuisines of different countries. Food is bit costly though. But still we get traditional street foods for reasonable prices as well.  These buildings and restaurants are surrounded by a dam. And I also heard there water sports available in Lavasa, but when I had been there it was closed due to heavy downpours.

It is a best place for the people of different ages to have fun and quality time.
